Customize Post Footer

If you want to change footer section in blogger default template. You can arrange your footer section for example sequence of author name, label, comments and share button. You can edit your post footer section by Blogger Dashboard>> Design>>Edit Blog Post.

You can edit it by dragging  Posted by, Comments as per your wish, But if you want to change authors name or signature...change the word comment follow the instructions.


First of all it is wise to backup your entire blog template so that if someone wrong happen you have the often to return your existing state. 


To change Author's Name Go to Template -> Edit HTML and click the “Expand Widget Templates” and search (Press ctrl+f ) data:post.author

	<div class='post-footer'> <p class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-1'><span class='post-author'><b:if cond='data:top.showAuthor'><data:top.authorLabel/> <data:post.author/></b:if></span>
	Now replace  <data:post.author/> with your desired author name. The changed name will show only on post footer section.

Customize Posted By : If you want to posted by link just after your post title search code given below 

	<div class='post-header-line-1'/>
	and paste the code (in red color ) just after <div class='post-header-line-1'/>  like this.

	<div class='post-header-line-1'/> <span class='post-author'> <b:if cond='data:top.showAuthor'> <data:top.authorLabel/> <data:post.author/> </b:if> </span>
	Hide Date and Time blogger default template have date and time just below the post title. If you do not  want to show it find the code give below

	<span class='post-timestamp'> <b:if cond='data:top.showTimestamp'> <data:top.timestampLabel/> <b:if cond='data:post.url'> <a class='timestamp-link' expr:href='data:post.url' title='permanent link'><data:post.timestamp/></a> </b:if> </b:if> </span>
	Delete all these code shown in red color, take preview before saving your template and you have done !                                                         I hope this will help you. Arvind
